Great game shot dead by grind

I was having a great time playing this one and was happy to see all the customization options but after a certain amount of play the higher lever items shoot up in cost to millions when you earn on average a thousand or two by replaying a level. That or shell out seven or more bucks but a game ruining weapon and defeat the whole purpose. Greedy and disappointing.
